Tuition Rates

Friends School of Minnesota is committed to an economically diverse student body and welcomes the opportunity to provide financial support to families who need it to help send their children to the school. Currently about 33% of our gross tuition is devoted to tuition aid, and that money supports almost 50% of our student body. Learn more about tuition aid.

Tuition is all inclusive. It includes school supplies, field trips, and overnight field trips. At FSMN you will not be charged hidden fees for our core programing.

But many families don’t pay the full amount.

FSMN is committed to an economically diverse student body with nearly half of our students receiving need-based tuition aid. In 2025–26, families paid anywhere from $2,118 to $21,180 per year depending on their financial circumstances. School-wide, the average tuition is just under $14,000.

We’re committed to making a progressive, Quaker education accessible. The school devotes more than $850,000 each year to tuition aid with a tuition aid program is designed to meet families where they are.

Example Payment Schedules

A non-refundable deposit equal to 10% of the year’s tuition is due within two weeks of the date of acceptance. This deposit is applied toward the year’s tuition.
