Make a Pledge
Plan to give, but prefer to personalize your giving schedule? Make a pledge to customize your giving. You will receive a reminder before your specified date(s).
Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers will double or even triple match your donation. Some companies will also match your gift if you are a retiree.
To find out if your donation may be eligible for an employer matching gift, contact your HR department or search for “matching gifts” on your company’s website to find out how to activate the matching program. Bring the paperwork to us and we will gladly help!
Employee Volunteer Programs
Whether you’re a regular at the Friends School Plant Sale, serve on the School Committee, or help early readers through the DEAR program, an Employee Volunteer Program can help turn your time into a donation for FSMN.
You may also be eligible to receive paid time off for your volunteer hours. We will help you track your volunteer time and provide documentation to your employer.
Check with your employer’s HR department or search your company’s website to see if your employee participates in a “volunteer grant” or “dollars for doers” program.
Gift of Stocks and Securities
Donor Advised Funds
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) have become an increasingly popular and flexible means of charitable giving that can offer tax benefits and allow greater flexibility and control over charitable giving. If you choose to give via an established DAF, please contact your fund manager to direct your gift to Friends School of Minnesota.
Legacy/Planned Giving
Your gift to FSMN, as part of a thoughtful estate plan, allows for a gift as a lasting act of generosity. Legacy gifts are directed to the FSMN Endowment, where they will continue to fulfill your wishes for a financially strong, resilient school for years to come.
There are many ways to include FSMN in your estate planning, including bequests, IRA and 401k accounts, charitable remainder and charitable lead trusts. FSMN and Friends Fiduciary will coordinate to help you find the options that will work best for you.
