FSMN is committed to hands-on, experiential learning. This hands-on learning is impactful, and allows students to connect their learning with something real, as opposed to a virtual dissection or pictures.
The discovery and learning bridges the human body system unit to the evolution unit, as students compare the human organs to the rats organs and discover the adaptations of the rats organs that help them survive in their environment. Check out our amazing 7th and 8th grade scientists in action!
Note: students could choose the role they wanted to take in the process.
