The bake sale at the Friends Gathering for Racial Justice and Community raised 560 dollars for three great organizations committed to racial and social justice work. The first organization is Appetite for Change. They use food to build health, wealth, and change in the state of Minnesota. The second is Headwaters Foundation for Justice. They are a social justice community foundation that invests in grassroots organizations across Minnesota. The third is the ACLU. The ACLU dares to create a more perfect union — beyond one person, party, or side. Their mission is to realize this promise of the United States Constitution for all and expand the reach of its guarantees.
