FSMN:
- Is mask-optional for all students, staff and families.
- Is allowing for the normal operational mixing of students across grade groups.
- Will NOT host in-school testing.
If/When Conditions Shift
If BOTH counties move into a “medium community risk” level, FSMN:
- Will be mask-optional for all students, staff and families.
- Will NOT allow for the mixing of students across pod groups.
- Will NOT host in-school testing.
If BOTH counties move into a “high community risk” level, FSMN:
- Will be mask-mandatory for all students, staff and families.
- Will NOT allow for the mixing of students across pod groups.
- Will NOT host in-school testing.
As you can see, we do not foresee conditions necessitating in-school testing in the future. All families should plan to have home test kits on hand and/or have plans for PCR testing for when their students wake up with symptoms or are sent home with symptoms.
We will continue to follow Minnesota Department of Health guidelines for Isolation (for those who test positive for COVID).
