Make an Afghan Square–Raise Funds for FSM!

This will be the tenth year that a group of FSM students and their families, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends will create an afghan to help raise funds for the school. We welcome the participation of all people in our community who would like to knit or crochet one or more eight-inch square(s) for this project.

The afghan will be given to someone in need of the caring concern of our community. Monetary donations are also sought (a way of sponsoring this activity). Since 2006, nearly every year the afghan project has generated $500 or more in donations for the school!

We'll get started on the 2016 afghan mid September.  Look for the box of yarn in the front lobby on Monday afternoon. Choose your yarn, get out your needles or hook, and start to knit or crochet your eight-inch square!! Directions are provided. Instruction is available, if desired.
